Welcome to Orange County

The entertainment capital of California

As the home to Disneyland Resorts and a number of other theme parks, Orange County is considered the entertainment capital of California. The densely populated region is a leader in tourism and known for its high-tech industries, professional sporting teams, and, of course, the beaches.

Laguna Beach has been immortalized on popular television shows and is one of the best sunbathing beaches in the nation. The region, commonly referred to as "the OC," offers endless days of perfect weather and miles of pristine beaches.

Most of Orange County has a laid-back feel, offering a fantastic quality of life without the hustle and stress often found in neighboring communities. There are 34 incorporated cities in Orange County, each with its own distinctive personality. For example, Santa Ana is known for having the best nightlife scene in Orange County, yet locals head to Brea to explore the trendy downtown area.

Another reason people love living in Ocean County is its proximity to major attractions throughout Southern California. Camping under the stars at Joshua Tree National Park is only a two-hour drive, and phenomenal skiing is two hours in the other direction at Big Bear Lake and Mountain Resort.

Whether you enjoy beaches, mountains, theme parks, or attractions, the OC lets you have it all.

Things to Do

Orange County is not lacking in things to do. There is always an event, an attraction, or a destination to keep people entertained and involved in the community.

The Disney Food & Wine Festival is an annual event that features food booths, celebrity chefs, cooking demonstrations, wine samplings, and live music. It is typically held at California Adventure every spring.

Inspired by Asian open-air nighttime bazaars, The OC Night Market has more than 250 vendors partaking in the festivities. There are crafts, games, live music, food, drinks, and numerous entertainment attractions.

The Newport Beach Jazz Festival brings together some of the best jazz, soul, and R&B musicians for world-class entertainment. The three-day annual event occurs in June each year and features an international food court, two stages, a vendor village, and awe-inspiring views of the Newport Beach Back Bay.

Orange County also features many parks and open spaces for residents to enjoy outdoor activities. Oso Viejo Community Park is a 52-acre family-friendly park with multiple playgrounds, picnic areas, hiking trails, and softball and soccer fields.

For breathtaking panoramic ocean views, go to Inspiration Point, a small but popular observation area, especially at sunset.
